Assessment Tasks

safe work procedures including awareness of health and safety hazards related to the operation of the planing and shaping equipment

Planing and shaping operations

Planes and shapers are not CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines.

Typical operations include slotting, planing and cutting flats.
